Jack Vaughan

Three hours to fix a problem he’d been working around for years.
Jack is a creative who works across both Mac and PC. For years his workaround for moving projects between them was manual, clunky, and constantly breaking his flow.
What Jack said:
“A nice little portal that’s always connected.”
(He liked it enough to make a YouTube Short about it.)
The situation
Every time Jack needed to render something, he was shuffling files onto an external drive, transferring licenses, switching machines, and picking up where he left off. It worked. It was also quietly eating his time and pulling him out of the creative zone every single time.
What Charlie did
- Set up direct access from Jack’s Mac to his PC — no cables, no drives, no transferring
- Made both machines behave like one connected system
- Done in three hours
The result
Jack can now launch renders and access all his files from either machine without thinking about it. The friction is just gone.
He made a YouTube Short about it.
Check it out! (I’m the IT person ☺️)
